When children do not know what comes next, they feel anxious. Anxiety comes out as testing, fighting, and resistance. A predictable daily structure is not rigidity — it is a gift of safety.

Think of structure as invisible parenting. Instead of you giving 50 commands per morning, the routine itself gives the commands. "It's time for breakfast" is not a demand — it is a step in a sequence the child already knows. Structure replaces nagging with automatic flow.
