Breaking the Comparison Cycle

Free yourself with these practices:

  • Unfollow or mute accounts that make you feel inadequate — ruthlessly curate your feed
  • Replace comparison with curiosity — instead of "they're better," ask "what's their struggle I can't see?"
  • Track your wins — write three things you did well today, no matter how small
  • Find one honest friend who will tell you when they are struggling, not just succeeding
  • Limit social media to 15 minutes on days you feel vulnerable

You are not a bad parent because someone else looks like a good one. You are a real parent in a world that rewards fake perfection.
