LESSON 1 · Sibling Wars to Sibling Peace
The Real Fuel
Underneath the shouting, many fights are asking one quiet question: "Do you love me as much as you love them?"
The child who hits a brother is often not aggressive but insecure. They are testing whether there is enough of you to go around.
This reframe changes how you respond. Instead of punishing the behavior, address the need:
- "You both matter to me."
- "There is enough love for everyone in this family."
- "I see you" — said to each child individually, every day.
When the emotional tank is full, the fighting tends to ease on its own.
