Before Correcting, Take 30

Before correcting, take 30 seconds to get on their level, make eye contact, and touch.

Then name what you observe without judgment: "You're throwing blocks. Something is frustrating you." This tells the child: I notice you, and your inner experience matters. Only after this acknowledgment does the redirect land effectively.
