What Ready Looks Like
Readiness is less about age than about whether they can handle real friction without you in the room. A teen close to launch can usually:
- Recover from a mistake without a parent smoothing it over
- Book their own appointment and actually show up
- Push back politely on an adult when something is wrong
- Sit with a hard feeling instead of needing it fixed at once
- Ask for help clearly, then act on the answer
Missing a few is normal. They simply mark where to keep practicing.
