LESSON 2 · Look Rich, Spend Less

Layering in Any Season

The three-layer idea bends to the weather. In winter, the layers turn heavy: a fitted turtleneck, a knit sweater, a structured coat. In summer, they go featherlight: a T-shirt, an open linen shirt, a thin blazer. Same three roles, different weights. A summer linen shirt does the same framing job as a winter coat, just without the heat.
