Weight and Color
Two small habits separate rich-looking layers from a random pile. First, stack weights right: thin fabric inside, heavier fabric outside. A bulky sweater under a thin jacket bulges; a thin sweater under a structured jacket looks sharp. Second, link the colors: if the base is navy and the coat is camel, let the middle layer bridge them instead of dropping in a clashing tone.
