The Capsule Concept
A capsule wardrobe is a small set of versatile pieces that all work together. Instead of a packed closet with nothing to wear, you own fewer things that mix into dozens of outfits.

The term was revived in the 1970s by London boutique owner Susie Faux, though stylists had worked this way long before her. Donna Karan later helped popularize the concept with her 1985 Seven Easy Pieces collection.
