Tools That Make the Difference

Your application tool matters as much as the product. A damp beauty sponge gives the most natural, skin-like finish because it sheers out product as it presses it in. A brush gives more coverage and is better for spot application.

The sponge must be damp, not dry. Soak it fully, then squeeze out the excess. A damp sponge absorbs less product and bounces foundation into the skin rather than smearing it across the surface.
