Get the Cut Right
Pick a cut that suits your face shape and hair texture, not the photo on the wall — then go back to the barber before it grows out, roughly every four to six weeks.

Facial hair needs the same care. A beard reads as deliberate only when it has defined edges and even length — most men's mistake is letting the neckline creep down the throat. Set the neckline about two finger-widths above the Adam's apple, clean the cheek line, and run a trimmer over it every few days.
