When Biting Gets Frantic

An overtired puppy bites more, the same way an overtired toddler melts down. If the nipping turns into a wild, can't-stop biting frenzy, the most likely cause is not bad behavior. It is missed sleep.

Spent energy bites less. A puppy that just had fifteen minutes on a sniff walk or worked a puzzle feeder has burned off the frantic fuel it would otherwise aim at your ankles.
