The Belly Band Trick

A belly band is a fabric wrap around the dog's midsection. When he lifts his leg, the urine soaks into the band instead of landing on the chair leg.

Pair the belly band with two more moves. Block access to favorite targets — close doors or use baby gates so the doorframe and that corner of the couch are simply off-limits for now.

Then give the dog a legal outlet: more walks, more sniffing, more chances to mark outside where it is allowed and welcome.
