LESSON 4 · Black Holes: Where Physics Breaks
Theoretical Escape Routes
General relativity technically allows exotic structures inside rotating black holes. The Kerr solution predicts a ring-shaped singularity that, on paper, you could pass through into a different region of spacetime — the mathematical basis for wormholes. None of this has ever been observed.

However, most physicists believe these interior solutions are unstable. Any matter falling in would collapse the passage.
Until we have a complete theory of quantum gravity, what truly happens inside a black hole remains one of the deepest mysteries in physics.
