The Sealed Void

The find raised more questions than it answered. Is the void just a relief chamber, an empty gap built to ease the crushing weight of stone above the Grand Gallery? Or is it a sealed room someone hid on purpose?

There is only one way to know for sure: thread a tiny camera through a drilled hole. Egypt has refused. Officials worry that any drilling could crack or weaken a structure that is irreplaceable and over four thousand years old.

So the void stays sealed, and its purpose stays a genuine open puzzle.
