What Moves the Needle
The most impactful climate actions are not individual lifestyle changes, though those matter. They are systemic changes — policies, technologies, and economic shifts that redirect the entire economy.
Carbon pricing makes polluters pay for emissions through taxes or trading systems, and over forty countries now use some form of it. Regulation sets emission standards for vehicles, buildings, and power plants, forcing change where market incentives fall short. The most underrated action of all is political engagement.
