Strength in Softness
Daoism flips the Western assumption that power comes from hardness and force. Laozi observed that a living tree bends in the wind while a dead one snaps. A newborn's body is soft and flexible; a corpse is rigid.

This insight applies far beyond nature metaphors. In relationships, the person who insists on always being right often destroys the connection. In business, companies that refuse to adapt go bankrupt. Flexibility is not weakness — it is a survival strategy.
