Aggression Is Information

When someone attacks you with a hostile question, your instinct is to fight back or shut down. Both fail.

Build a mental separation between their emotion and your response. Silently label what is happening: "This is anger. This is frustration." Hostile questions may be about your idea, but they often also reveal fear, status, or loss of control.
