Binary Thinking is Broken
Most people think in binaries: something will happen or it will not. A plan will work or fail. But reality runs on a probability spectrum. Rain tomorrow is not yes or no — it is 30% or 70%.

Probabilistic thinking assigns percentage likelihoods to outcomes and updates them as evidence arrives. It is how forecasters, poker players, and intelligence analysts work — harder than binary thinking, but far more accurate.
