LESSON 5 · Decide Together

Why Paralysis Deepens

Two triggers get worse the longer they run, which is why they are so sticky.

Stakeholder multiplication scales badly because each added person can object to anyone else's view, not just the leader's. Five voices are manageable; fifteen create a web of cross-objections that no single discussion can untangle.

Analysis paralysis feeds on sunk cost. The more time a team pours into gathering data, the more it feels reckless to decide without even more — so the delay justifies itself and keeps growing.
