Reliable Certifications

Not all environmental labels are equal. Third-party certifications that involve independent auditing are far more trustworthy than a company's own claims about itself.

Labels like Fair Trade, FSC for forestry, and Energy Star require regular audits by outside organizations. They mean specific, measurable standards have actually been met — not vague aspirations or marketing language.
