Building Your English Voice

Start by identifying your accent fingerprint: the specific sounds that differ most between your language and English. For Spanish speakers, it's often the "v" sound; for Japanese speakers, "l" versus "r." Focus on the three to five sounds that cause the most misunderstanding. Record yourself reading a paragraph, compare it to a native speaker reading the same text, and aim for clarity, not a perfect match.
