A Little Goes Far

You do not need a full outfit in one color to send the message. The trick is placement: a colored piece near your face does most of the work, because that is where people look when they talk to you. A red scarf, a blue collar, or green earrings can carry the signal on their own. This is freeing.

Dress for tomorrow's calendar tonight. Red brings impact, navy or charcoal steadies interviews, blue builds quick trust, and yellow or purple can loosen creative work.
