Light Makes The Outfit

The best top fails in bad light. Light is the other half of how you look on camera: it decides whether your colors stay true and your skin looks healthy.

Your background should support your outfit, not fight it. A clean, neutral backdrop keeps your face and clothing as the focal point. If you run a virtual background, pick an outfit that contrasts with it so the software does not blur or erase your edges; a top that matches the backdrop color can make your shoulders vanish on screen.
