LESSON 6 · Navigate Any Conflict

Strategic Surrender

Not every conflict can be won, and not every one should be fought. Strategic surrender is the skill of recognizing when continuing to fight costs more than conceding. This is not weakness.

The hardest part is managing your ego. The voice that says "but I'm right" keeps you fighting long after the fight stopped serving you. Sometimes the right move is conceding a battle to preserve a relationship you cannot afford to lose.
