Persuasive Writing
Most people become worse communicators the moment they start typing. In conversation, you are direct and compelling. In writing, you become formal, abstract, and dull. The gap exists because school taught you to write for teachers, not for real humans.

The simplest test for persuasive writing: read it aloud. If you stumble over a sentence, your reader will stumble mentally. If you would never say it in conversation, delete it. Spoken rhythm is the fastest shortcut to written clarity.
