The Flooding Cascade

Flooding follows a predictable sequence. First comes a trigger — often something small that lands on an already stressed system.

Within seconds, your body shifts into combat mode. Blood redirects to your large muscles, digestion halts, and adrenaline floods your system. Your body is bracing for a physical fight or an escape — even though the trigger was just a conversation.
