Craft The Ask

Knowing the window matters little if your ask is mushy. Vague requests get vague answers, so design the sentence.

Try: "Given how the [project] launch landed, I'd love to talk about how it fits my growth here — could we grab 30 minutes this week or next?"

Three things make it work:

  1. Anchors to the fresh win — reminds them why now
  2. Names a length — 30 minutes is easy to say yes to
  3. Offers two slots — turns "yes or no" into "this week or next"

Never open with "sometime soon." Specific asks get specific answers.
