Feedback Beats Surveys
Reading the room as you speak gives you something no post-event survey can: information you can still act on. A survey tells you what went wrong after it is too late to fix. Your ears tell you in the moment — while you can still shift gears.
That is why live feedback is worth more than any rating collected afterward. The sounds of the room point to whether your current delivery is working, so you can adjust your pitch, pace, energy, or content before you lose the audience, not after.
