Myths vs. Reality

The most destructive myths persist because they feel intuitively correct, even when the research says otherwise.

Myth: eat before your dog to show dominance. Reality: meal order has zero effect on behavior or rank. Feed your dog whenever it fits your schedule.

Myth: a guilty look means they know what they did. Reality: the "guilty" face is a fear response to your body language, not proof of moral understanding.

Myth: you must be the alpha. Reality: that idea came from captive wolves and does not apply to dogs in human homes.
