Aesop Rock, who tops the count of unique words used
Researcher Matt Daniels compared the first 35,000 lyrics of major rappers and found Aesop Rock used the most distinct words — far more than most artists in the study. The fixed-sample method makes the ranking fair, since rappers with longer careers naturally rack up more words overall.
